We offer a level of quality above the rest. See for yourself when you use Mint Cleaning Co.

Mint Cleaning Co. is an IICRC Certified Firm and each of our technicians is trained in and continues to excel in all things carpet cleaning and stain removing. Our training process is not just focused on how to clean carpets most effectively, but also understanding the manufacturing process of different carpet types and the science behind treating the stains and soils that come with them.

We know that your carpeting is one of the largest investments in your home and we don’t want to just clean it for you once per year, we want to help educate you on the care and maintenance of your carpets that will help it last as long as possible.

Our Process

When we clean carpets, we use a 5-step procedure to ensure a thorough clean and consistent outstanding results. What you can expect every time we clean your carpets

On average, we shoot for your carpets to be dry in 3 hours or less. A few things such as ambient temperature, relative humidity and good airflow can affect this a little bit each way.

1.

Pre-vacuuming

Up to 80% of the soiling in your carpet is dry and non-soluble, meaning it needs to be vacuumed out. In residential carpet cleaning, skipping this step is a no go!

2.

Detergent Pre-treatment

All of our detergents are eco-friendly and bio-degradable. Our residential detergent is great for breaking down common organic soils found in most homes and utilizes a powerful and natural citrus for those tougher oils.

3.

Counter-rotating Brush Scrub

After we apply our detergent, we use our brush machine on all of your carpeting. This does a handful of things – it pulls dry soils from deep down in your carpets where the vacuum can’t get, it ensures that the detergent has been effectively applied to every area of the carpet fiber, and it lifts the fibers so that they are most ready for rinsing.

4.

Hot Water Extraction Rinse

This is the part that many will know as “steam cleaning”. The truth is that hot water extraction is the more appropriate term for what we are doing, it just doesn’t sound as good! This is where we rinse out all of the soils out of your carpets that are now suspended in our cleaning solutions. This is the most important step and also the one where so many mistakes can be made. Our technicians have the know-how and the experience to ensure that we are rinsing at appropriate water temperatures and pressures. We also utilize a neutralizing rinse in our water systems. Not only does this allow us to clean more effectively, but it also ensures that we are removing and neutralizing all of our detergents. This is how we make sure that your carpets are left soft and not crunchy and also won’t re-soil prematurely due to “soap” or residue left behind.

5.

Post Grooming

A good post grooming with either a rake or a brush not only helps your carpets dry most efficiently, it just makes everything look really, darn, nice. Our hope is that when we’re done cleaning your carpet, you don’t even want to walk on it.
